Q What do I need to start using the UFO?
You will need a Wi-Fi access point and either an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad with the free Energy UFO application.
Q Do I need a PC that is "always on"?
No. In fact, a PC is not needed at all.
Q How about an iPhone and iPad?
An iPhone, iPod touch or iPad is needed to interact with the UFO Power Center using your wireless Wi-Fi home network.
Q Do I need an Internet connection?
An Internet connection is not necessary. If your home network is connected to the Internet through a router, the UFO Power Center will send anonymous energy consumption data to our servers.
Q How about privacy?
The UFO Power Center is not visible outside your home network. If wireless access to your home network is properly protected, the UFO is also protected. Anonymous data are collected by Visible Energy's servers. See our Privacy Policy.
Q How safe is the UFO Power Center?
The UFO is made with non-flammable material and is a very safe device when used accordingly with our Safety Precautions. The UFO Power Center complies with U.S. and Canadian safety standards for electrical products.
Q How does your 30-day money back guarantee work?
At Visible Energy we want you to be completely satisfied with our products. You can return the UFO Power Center within 30 days of receiving it in the original package for a full refund of the purchase price. Shipping cost is not covered by the 30-day money back guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied, just contact Visible Energy sending an email to sales@visiblenergy.com and you will be contacted with return shipping instructions.
Q What is your warranty?
All Visible Energy products are covered by a one-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If for some reason your UFO Power Center product is not working properly and customer support is unsuccessful in helping you troubleshoot your problem, contact Visible Energy for an RMA sending an email to support@visiblenergy.com and you will be contacted with return shipping instructions. Your product will be replaced at no charge. Shipping charges are not covered by the warranty.
